John L. Bell is an ordained minister and a member of the Iona Community. He teaches and leads workshops across the globe on liturgy. scripture, church music and current issues of social and international justice. His hymns are translated in several European and Asian languages, and he has published numerous book ranging from an exploration of The Psalms to collections of radio talks and public lectures. He lives in Glasgow.
